YAY!

This past summer I took a basic web design course and this week I finally got my portfolio website up and running!! It is not 100 percent finished but close to it, i am so glad to not have to worry about that any more and maybe now I can start applying for jobs...AHH!

The Halworth Home

This past weekend I visited a local nursing home. I realize that this does not seem like a huge deal, but I think it is important for everyone to know that I go to RISD and we are smack dab in teh middle of finals week. SO finding some time to tear my self away from my work seemed liek the biggest deal of my life, hehe.

The first very cool thing abut this was going into a buildig that I've past so many times throughout the past four years and I had know Idea it would look like that! I really enjoyed talking with these people about their lives, one of them was an activist with Martin Luther King Jr. another owned a whole lot of companies and I even got to play bingo, and pet cat!

All The Time

This is a perfect representation of how much I am working lately. It's the hardest time of the semester here at RISD and I am getting no sleep. I can not wait for thanksgiving break this coming week!

My favorite part of thanksgiving is the cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes. I like to mix up all my thanksgiving-y food together. What is your favorite part of thanksgiving?

Hope you are having a lovely summer, I recently come across this gem of a designer....Her name is Erin Jang...

Grand Design

This is a designer who does absolutely beautiful work, In my own work I have been trying to incorporate vintage like effects and designs. Cynthia Warren does awe inspiring work!!

Me Likey

I was shopping around my town and I found jewelry from this company Me & Ro. They have some of the most beautiful pieces I have seen in a long time. The jewelry that they design often has to do with religion and they even have a very nice collection of men's jewelry. Below are two of my favorite pieces from the website.
