Am I crazy?

Or are they actually really beautiful? I can't decide whether these purses are the tackiest things I have ever seen or the most amazing things ever! I realize Judith Leiber has been designing them for decades so my opinion dosen't really matter she must be doing something right. I also know that if they were not thousands of dollars I would seriously consider buying one..actually i still really want one (can't afford..duh!).

DP Love

So, I have been working on my degree project pretty much none stop. I am writing and illustrating a children's book for adults all about love. I am having so much fun doing it, I am working on making about 14 pretty detailed shadow boxes, I will put up some photos of them soon. For now check out this Ted talk by anthropologist Helen Fisher, It's about the psychology of love.

I love these necklaces! They remind me of those ones you can buy inexpensively on the streets, but so much classier. I like the idea of putting your favorite city on it.

Bright ideas!

I found these beautiful light bulbs on sale from sundance.
I have no need for them but oh how I want them! And at $50 dollars a piece it does not matter how much I want them, let's just say money isn't what i am rolling in lately. On the site it says, "When fixtures call for exposed bulbs, these are the ones they ask for." and I agree. I would definitely save the packaging if I got these.

Supernova

I have a thing for tights right now. Not too surprising, as do so many girls lately, tights are such a cool way of bringing some excitement to any outfit. and aren't these Beautiful! they are designed by a company called Shabd.

Vintage Paper Dolls

I am working on an illustration project in which I am making paper dolls using a vintage style and I found these! SO cute. I am definitely getting some inspiration from these. I wish people still illustrated like they used to, there is something so nice about the simplicity.
