Bright ideas!

I found these beautiful light bulbs on sale from sundance.
I have no need for them but oh how I want them! And at $50 dollars a piece it does not matter how much I want them, let's just say money isn't what i am rolling in lately. On the site it says, "When fixtures call for exposed bulbs, these are the ones they ask for." and I agree. I would definitely save the packaging if I got these.

I have a thing for tights right now. Not too surprising, as do so many girls lately, tights are such a cool way of bringing some excitement to any outfit. and aren't these Beautiful! they are designed by a company called Shabd.

Vintage Paper Dolls

I am working on an illustration project in which I am making paper dolls using a vintage style and I found these! SO cute. I am definitely getting some inspiration from these. I wish people still illustrated like they used to, there is something so nice about the simplicity.

Anthropologie Sweaters!

This past summer I took a basic web design course and this week I finally got my portfolio website up and running!! It is not 100 percent finished but close to it, i am so glad to not have to worry about that any more and maybe now I can start applying for jobs...AHH!

The Halworth Home

This past weekend I visited a local nursing home. I realize that this does not seem like a huge deal, but I think it is important for everyone to know that I go to RISD and we are smack dab in teh middle of finals week. SO finding some time to tear my self away from my work seemed liek the biggest deal of my life, hehe.

The first very cool thing abut this was going into a buildig that I've past so many times throughout the past four years and I had know Idea it would look like that! I really enjoyed talking with these people about their lives, one of them was an activist with Martin Luther King Jr. another owned a whole lot of companies and I even got to play bingo, and pet cat!
